1a. DISPLAY Adverts must be submitted in one of the following formats; Microsoft Word .DOC, .RTF or .DOCX [include or embed fonts], .JPG, .TIF, .GIF, .BMP, CorelDraw .CDR or .CPT [version 7 through 13 (X3)] [include or embed fonts], or .PDF (not endorsed for colour). Adverts must be scaled to the correct size. 1b. Free Wording - Display Adverts are not included on our website. You are therefore allocated a second advert; a certain number of Free Words (amount in table above) in a CLASSIFIED advert which is printed in the Link-Up booklet under a category of your choice, and as such is also displayed on the website. Any additional words would be charged for at R4.00 per word. Please see point 2 below regarding choosing a category and our word count rules. 2. CLASSIFIED Adverts must be submitted in writing. (The minimum invoice charge for placing classifieds only is R120.00 for a total of 30 words or less). * FOR CLASSIFIED CATEGORIES; Refer to the front cover of the magazine or the Side Bar on our website. (Per e-mail or fax – please see the attached list). * Classified Adverts have the following word count rules: Actual phone numbers with or without dialling codes count as 2 words each. Actual webpage addresses and actual e-mail addresses count as 3 words each. Hyphenated words count as 2 words. We don’t charge for bullets or ampersands (&). * Quantity Discount - total of 200 words and over: LESS 10% 3. Invoice and payment details can only be sent once your advert(s), full name and a contact landline tel. number have been accepted and processed. 4. CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT - Please put your Invoice/Customer No. and name on your deposit slip/beneficiary form and e-mail proof of payment to: ads@lug.co.za or fax a copy to us on 011 728-5688. LINK-UP CANNOT PUBLISH ADVERTS UNTIL CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. The onus to ensure ADVICE OF PAYMENT is received is the advertiser’s responsibility. Disclaimer:
